Marion E. Clark

	Memorial services for Marion E. (Pug) Clark, 81, of Champaign were Saturday, February 5 at 11 a.m. at Windsor Road Christian Church in Champaign.  Morgan Memorial Home, Savoy, was handling arrangements.
	Mr. Clark died at 12:01 a.m. Friday (January 28, 2000) at Provena Covenant Medical Center, Urbana.
	He was born April 11, 1918, in DuQuoin, a son of Samuel R. and Mary Ellen Danbury Clark.  He married Edith M. Coates on June 10, 1941, in Perryville, Mo.  She survives.
	Also surviving are two daughters, Barbara Sue Angles of Peoria and Nancy Jean Hoerman of Champaign; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
	He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
	Mr. Clark retired after working for 40 years for the Illinois Central Railroad as a car inspector.  He was a charter member of the Windsor Road Christian Church of Champaign and a member of the Brotherhood of Railway Carmen of America.
